The Le Petit Sports methodology has been an immense success in over 20 countries for over 10 years. Prior to the availability of this on-line course, instructor training and certification was only available through large licensing agreements. Individuals interested in incorporating new programs offering at their sports clubs, day care centers or schools can now learn the methodology on their own time and from any location. A computer and high speed internet access are required to gain entry to the on-line content.
While instructors do not need prior tennis experience to teach an LPT Program, instructors do need to learn how to effectively use the unique LPT story based system.
The on-line course and accompanying teaching materials will enable instructors to integrate The Extraordinary Voyages Booklet Series along with the LPT age-adapted equipment to enable children to play with imagination while becoming more intense in the drills. The increase in interest generated from the stories will allow instructors to easily integrate the technical fundamentals to ensure that the children use the correct techniques right from the start. Instructors will create an environment where the children can have fun, be creative, and develop their self-esteem and confidence while gaining skills and a passion for the sport.

Le Petit Sports is a company which oversees various sports education divisions. It is the first company of its kind to bring together former professional tennis players and athletes, sports experts from France, Belgium and Switzerland, early childhood psychologists and school teachers in the development of early sports education programs for very young children.
Le Petit Tennis was the first of the Le Petit Sports companies to be launched (2001) and has grown internationally, reaching over 20 countries through its numerous subsidiaries, licensees and partnerships. Le Petit Sports system and business model has proven to be effective for many large corporations and family hotel chains like Club Med and Club Magic Life. They use the system in their childcare centers to provide quality sports introduction to their young clients. National associations and governing bodies such as The Canadian Tennis Association (Tennis Canada), the United States Tennis Association (USTA) and the Brazilian Tennis Federation (CBT) are now using or endorsing the system or some of its features to reach young children through the interactive stories of Le Petit Sports. Large non-profit and non-governmental organizations including the United Nations, Peace & Sport and Sport 4 Life use the program's powerful messages to promote universal core values to under-served children.
Le Petit Tennis uses adventure stories in tennis lessons to encourage children to play with imagination while becoming more intense in the drills. The stories, images and role play components allows for better communication with children and maximizes their attention span and focus. In Le Petit Tennis lessons, coaches teach using a series of colorful story books, games, small-format courts with decorations and age-adapted equipment like large inflatable balls, lower nets, and smaller sized racquets. Progression is tracked through a 7 level color system and is visually marked on the Le Petit Tennis racquets and bracelets.
